About Miranda
Miranda Cohen is a Philadelphia-based graphic designer and illustrator with a keen interest in branding, typography and print design. She is drawn to mission-driven organizations and design that has impact– whether that be helping to create social change, or through simply creating accessible designs and functional systems. Her background in art history and knowledge of material culture allow her to be a visual storyteller, using the nuances of type and image to craft brands and illustrate complex ideas. Her illustrations draw from manual ways of making, translating them into the digital realm to create designs that carry a trace of the human hand.
When she’s not designing, you can find her doing jigsaw puzzles at her puzzle table, perusing the home goods section of the thrift store, crafting with friends, or playing pickleball.
